Jason enjoys spending time with his wife Kara and daughter Zoey, and their rescue dog and cat. He enjoys golfing, travelling, collecting autographed memorabilia, and is a passionate fan of Washington Huskies football. Some of his favorite travel destinations include Bali, St. Croix, Belize, and New Orleans.

 

Jason is truly a hometown kid; born and raised in the Seattle area, he graduated from Renton High School and attended UW with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.  Jason later received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the USC and moved back to Seattle shortly thereafter, working at the City of Federal Way as a Deputy City Clerk and Management Analyst.

Jason later took a position at Sound Transit in Seattle as a Board Coordinator, where he met a number of project and construction managers. It was there he became interested in project management and pivoted to a new role working as a Project Coordinator on Sound Transit’s Regional Express Bus and Sounder Commuter Rail programs. Jason later took a project management position at Puget Sound Energy, managing residential electrical infrastructure projects before coming to Rock.
