Satsop School District

The Satsop School District (SSD) is a small rural school district on the outskirts of Elma, Washington.  The 1902 red school house is one of few remaining in Washington.  Rock provides capital program funding assistance for the District working collaboratively with District leadership, faculty, staff, and Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.  Under Rock’s leadership, the District is an applicant for rural school district modernization grant funding.  Rock is leading the effort to provide capital program, project, and construction management services to modernize the building systems while preserving the historic character of the red schoolhouse. Rock provided grant application services for multiple years and multiple phases of projects, and hired a design subconsultant to develop initial space planning documents.
